As you can sharpen image details effectively and saumfrei in Photoshop, I have, for example, in the premium workshop Issue 57 explained. That was 2014. But the contents of the article detail enhancement are still brand new since has actually happened since then nothing in the available for this purpose standard tools of Photoshop. Luckily, there are plug-ins and panels that greatly simplify a certain tasks.
These days I am the new one Panel Fixel Detailizer 3 stumbled. For what is possible here with only 5 controllers, you need quite advanced Photoshop knowledge (high-pass or make Matter-sharpening, edge and surface masks, blending modes, and so on) and above all considerably more time. Because you can increase the contrast of the different detail sizes Seamless and can act as your image much sharper and plastic or three-dimensional here. The good thing: Everything you change Panel happens - computing power required - in real time! You do not have to first click on an OK button, but can continue to work seamlessly. I wish each filter in Photoshop would (ie non-modal) work this way.
Another advantage is the panel in my opinion, especially for optimizing photos for the web to give the photos the last kick. For small versions you can optimize very quickly. Caution is advised in here but the controls for the larger details - because the produce necessarily but then Helligkeitssäume (!). After the contrast vote for each detail sizes, you should reduce the "intensity level" to reduce the often very strong effect on a meaningful level. Attention attention: Then I omitted in my own test examples to better articulate times.
Examples of the detail enhancement
The cloud forest scene and the photo with the seagull I have sharpened as shown here size, the bird of prey in the original size and then only reduces the image: where I tried out the panel to detail gain some examples. In the Seagull look the way very nice, why would you shoot in Raw: The used herein includes JPEG due to the camera-internal processing already sharpening artifacts at the edges, which are naturally reinforced by subsequent sharpening as here.
The available only in English panel costs 34 euros and is on this page available. A trial version does not exist, unfortunately, but I can at least assure you that the sharpening examples of the manufacturer and are of me on this site not a fake. 😉
I wish you a nice weekend!
